21 is the sophomore album from British singer-songwriter Adele. It cemented her legacy as an artist who would make once-in-a-generation milestones out of her music. It followed Adele's critically acclaimed, Grammy award-winning debut album 19 (both named after her age at the time the songs were written). 21 won the 2012 Grammy Award for Album of the Year and the Brit Award for British Album of the Year. It has since ranked amongst the Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, and is included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.
