A "Saturday Night Party Album" for the ages!

2020 release from The Foo Fighters on 140-gram LP

Their 10th album featuring big guitars, big grooves, and big choruses!

At the beginning of 2020, says Dave Grohl, Foo Fighters looked at their schedule and saw "an entire world-domination itinerary in front of us." There was to be a very special U.S. headline run — labelled the Van Tour — in which the rock titans would be celebrating the 25th anniversary of their inception. Then, they would unleash their 10th studio album — the follow-up to 2017's excellent Concrete And Gold. With the record finished in February and their live schedule carefully plotted out, the future beckoned — and then, the COVID-19 pandemic shut down the world.

Medicine at Midnight is that new album from Foo Fighters, and it packs nine new songs into a tight-ass 37 minutes. This collection includes the smoldering new single, "Shame Shame." Medicine at Midnight is produced by Greg Kurstin and the Foo Fighters — Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear, and Rami Jaffee.

Grohl occupied his time wisely in the subsequent months. From surprising key workers in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic to covering "Times Like These" for charity and finally joining Instagram to tell some of his life's most fascinating tales, there was no shortage of Foos fun — only a lack of new music for fans to enjoy.

Now, the engines in Foos HQ are rumbling once more. They tore up the stage on their appearance on Saturday Night Live and released a new single "Shame Shame" — a searing, scorched-earth epic that explores their very darkest corners.
