Born into a family with a trading company executive father, Miho spent her early childhood overseas. After returning to Japan, she grew up in Kamakura, where she was immersed in music daily through her jazz-loving father and R&B-loving mother.

She began her serious musical journey in high school, forming a rock band where she played keyboard and guitar while also writing lyrics and composing music. She collaborated with various artists across different genres. Eventually, inspired by Helen Merrill, she became deeply involved in the jazz world.

Known for what experts call “miracle vocal cords” and described as “Tokyo’s Sigh,” she garnered attention for her healing whisper voice characterized by rich harmonics and ethereal qualities.

In 2009, she released her debut album “woman with LOVE,” marking the blossoming of her talent. In 2012, she made her major debut with King Records, releasing the full album “…and you will find me.” Due to its overwhelming response, her second album “Because the Night…” was released just a year and a half later. She has been hailed as a new DIVA across various circles for her broad musical knowledge, rock spirit that serves as her personal foundation, unique interpretations of cover songs, high-quality original compositions, intellectual beauty, distinctive vocal prowess, and elegant stage presence.

In 2014, she was appointed as Tourism Ambassador for Nakanojo Town, Agatsuma District, Gunma Prefecture, where she sang the town’s official theme song “Nakanojo no Uta.”

In 2016, she released her 3rd album “Call me” from King Records.
