Chvrches, the Scottish electropop heroes from Glasgow, released their new, fourth full-length album entitled The Bones Of What You Believe in 2021: The album title was originally intended as the band's name back in 2011, when their story began. A decade later, and at a time when the reality of screen violence is more relevant than ever, when we experience a world filled with trauma as if it were another, Chvrches have revived the term for their upcoming album. With the theme of screen violence in three main forms – on the screen, from screens, and through screens – the album touches on feelings of loneliness, disillusionment, anxiety, heartbreak, and regret.
