"Do They Know It’s Christmas?" is the iconic single from charity supergroup, Band Aid, founded in 1984 by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure. To commemorate 40 years since the original recording, a newly compiled 12" vinyl format will raise vital funds for the Band Aid Trust.
The product features the original 1984 version, and subsequent Band Aid 20 and Band Aid 30 versions, plus a 2024 Ultimate Mix – an extraordinary new edit by Trevor Horn which mixes together vocals of the many artists who have recorded the song over the decades into one seamless whole.
Here on one record, the Band Aid 40 version represents the finest voices and the greatest musicians of British rock'n'roll history.
