"YOUR TIME Route #1," a cover album by Hitomitoi featuring hits from the golden age of city pop, produced by Kunimondo Takiguchi (Ryusenkei), will be reissued at CITY POP on VINYL 2025!

2012年にリリースされた一十三十一(ひとみとい)の名カバーアルバム「YOUR TIME Route #1」が、13年振りにLPカラー盤で再発が決定。夏の名盤「CITY DIVE」と対をなす姉妹盤としてクニモンド瀧口(流線形)プロデュースのもと制作され、主に80年代前半のジャパニーズ・ポップスの名曲の数々をカバー。

ユーミン、1981年の名盤『昨晩お会いしましょう』収録の「手のひらの東京タワー」や、山下達郎作詞作曲による竹内まりや「夏の恋人」をはじめ、宮本典子の「SILVER RAIN」や来生えつこ×南佳孝によるラジ「ブラック・ムーン」など知る人ぞ知る名曲も選ばれている。
また「オレたちひょうきん族」のエンディング・テーマだったEPOの「土曜の夜はパラダイス」や、「男女7人夏物語」の主題歌だった石井明美の「CHA CHA CHA」など、まさにあの時代の空気まで閉じ込めたかのような見事な選曲。
あの頃、キラキラと街で輝いていた音楽が、新たに蘇る。

Hitomi Toi's classic cover album "YOUR TIME Route #1," originally released in 2012, is being reissued on color LP for the first time in 13 years. Produced by Kunimondo Takiguchi (Ryusenkei), it's a companion album to the summer classic "CITY DIVE," and features covers of a number of classic Japanese pop hits, primarily from the early '80s.

Featured songs include Yuming's "Tenohira no Tokyo Tower" (Tokyo Tower in the Palm of Your Hand), from the 1981 classic "Satakano Oimasho" (See You Last Night), Mariya Takeuchi's "Natsu no Koibito" (Summer Lover), with lyrics and music by Tatsuro Yamashita, as well as lesser-known classics like Noriko Miyamoto's "SILVER RAIN" and the radio song "Black Moon" by Etsuko Kisugi and Yoshitaka Minami. The selection of songs is also stunning, as if capturing the atmosphere of that era, including EPO's "Saturday Night is Paradise," the ending theme for "Ore Tachi Hyokinki Zoku," and Ishii Akemi's "CHA CHA CHA," the theme song for "Nanatsu no Nana Danshi Natsu Monogatari."

The music that shone brightly in the streets back then is brought back to life anew.
