#LetsBaRock is a bold, genre-defying collaboration between superstar countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński and virtuoso pianist/composer Aleksander Dębicz. This 2-LP set captures a project that bridges the 300-year gap between the Baroque era and the modern soundscape.
Rather than a traditional classical recital, the album treats the works of Vivaldi, Purcell, Monteverdi, and Handel as "greatest hits" primed for reimagining. Dębicz’s arrangements infuse these masterpieces with elements of jazz, pop, and contemporary improvisation, backed by a rhythm section (double bass and drums) that gives the music a soulful, cinematic pulse.
