As Inagaki himself has said, “I did black funk,'' by combining the explosiveness of jazz-rock that he had cultivated up to that point with the tenacity and elasticity of black music, his musicality took it to another level. I made a leap. Coupled with master Hiromasa Suzuki's exquisite arrangement, the groove is polished, becomes more lustrous, and shines mysteriously. All the songs are worth listening to, including "Painted Paradise," which is full of dynamism and speed, "Breeze," which has funkness and mellowness, and a cover of Kool & The Gang's "Funky Stuff," which has a low center of gravity and is sharp. It is now a definitive masterpiece that continues to be wanted by people all over the world.
