Mariya Takeuchi – Precious Days
Mariya Takeuchi is finally releasing her first original album in ten years! This is her 12th original album, coming a decade after the release of *TRAD* in 2014. Known as a talented singer-songwriter, Takeuchi’s new album features a diverse collection of songs, including theme songs for films, terrestrial TV dramas, and Netflix anime, as well as themes for TV variety shows and news programs, TV commercials, and collaborations with artists like Anri. It also includes beautiful English cover songs featuring harmonies with Tatsuro Yamashita, along with self-covers of songs she has provided to other artists.
With a total of 18 tracks showcasing a rich variety of musical styles and arrangements, this album represents a culmination of her work over the past decade. The deluxe edition includes a CD along with a video, *Precious Live Collection*, featuring 16 carefully selected songs from her first live-streamed concert, *LIVE Turntable*, which gained attention in 2021, as well as previously unreleased footage from *LIVE Turntable Plus*.
竹内まりや、10年ぶりとなるオリジナル・アルバムついに発売！シンガーソングライター、竹内まりや。2014年に発売したアルバム『TRAD』以来10年ぶり、通算12枚目のオリジナル・アルバムです。映画や地上波TVドラマ、Netflixアニメなどの主題歌、TVワイドやニュース番組のテーマソング、TVCMソング、加えて杏里とのコラボ・ソングや山下達郎とのハーモニーが美しい洋楽カヴァー、他アーティストへの提供曲のセルフカヴァーなど、初音源化された楽曲も多数収録。バラエティに富んだ曲調やアレンジでこの10年間の集大成とも言える全18曲の豪華で充実した内容となりました。デラックス盤には、CDに加え映像「Precious Live Collection」が付属されます。2021年に竹内まりや初の配信ライブとして話題を呼んだ「LIVE Turntable」とその後、未発表映像を加えて配信された「LIVE Turntable Plus」から厳選された16曲。
