This is Buddy Guy! — Buddy Guy's electrifying first live album — was released in 1968 on Vanguard Records. The live performance took place at New Orleans House in Berkeley, Ca. Showcasing Guy's guitar prowess and mastery of multiple styles, he plays both originals and classics such as "Knock on Wood," "I Had A Dream Last Night," and more. This newly remastered album has been pressed on 180-gram vinyl at QRP in partnership with Acoustic Sounds, and is housed in a replica tip-on jacket.

George "Buddy" Guy is a blues singer and guitarist who pioneered Chicago blues in the 1950s and 1960s. He was born in 1936 and learned to play guitar on a homemade diddley bow before upgrading to his recognizable custom Fender with a polka-dot finish. Buddy Guy's career has spanned almost seven decades and he still performs regularly. An eight-time Grammy winner, Buddy Guy has influenced legendary guitarists such as Eric Clapton, John Mayer, and Jimi Hendrix.
