By September 1962, Julian “Cannonball” Adderley had become a highly successful jazz leader. Jazz Workshop Revisited, as its title indicates, wasn’t the saxophonist’s first live album nor his first LP recorded at that venue. Cannonball’s first official live album was also taped at San Francisco’s Jazz Workshop in October 1959.
