Arias From Operas is an album by Muslim Magomayev recorded with various Soviet Orchestras and Conductors in 1964 and 1971. Mr. Magomayev is renowned in Russia as the "Soviet Sinatra" and this limited edition Melodiya LP reveals a baritone truly gifted with striking musical skills. He was one of the first Soviet singers to perform in the opera's original language and this album features 7 German, Italian, French and Austrian opera classics including works from Tchaikovsky, Rossini, Gounod, Bizet, Verdi and Mozart.
