Description
The long-awaited new album by Ryu Miho, a female jazzy-pop singer with a sighing whisper voice, is her first new album in about three years. Ryu Miho is backed by Saori Sendo (dr.), Naoto Suzuki (g), and Takana Miyamoto (p), with whom she often performs live, and guest appearances by Yosuke Konuma (g), Shinpei Ryoke (tp), Toshiyuki Honda (s.sax), and other authentic jazz musicians.
The album is a more mature concept work with guest participation from musicians. The album features mainly jazz standards, but also includes a cover of James Brown's classic "You're beautiful" and "Call me," an original song that sensually describes a sad woman's heart in a few words.
