Singer-songwriter Fym Summer is known for her dreamy vocals and rueful lyrics. She has been invited to perform at internationally renowned music stages such as SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas and Canadian Music Week in Toronto, Ontario. She is also a NOISE Singapore artist (National Arts Council) and has sung for UN Women's Activism campaigns, in Royal Academy of Music (UK) and more.
Fym Summer is a Singaporean singer-songwriter, born in July 1991. Her music is notable for her dreamy vocals and rueful lyrics. Music critics and judges from Noise Singapore, an initiative by Singapore National Arts Council, have described her as a natural and masterful singer-songwriter; her songs warm and emotionally intriguing.
Fym Summer performed some of her key shows singing her songs “This Girl” from Luna EP, “Wolf” from Heart EP, and “Truth” from her single for the UN Women's 16 Days of Activism campaign and at the Royal Academy of Music in London in 2016. In 2018, Fym Summer is the sole music artist from Singapore to have been invited to perform at the world renowned Canadian Music Week (CMW) in Toronto and South By Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival in Austin, Texas that year, which attracted media attention and acclaim.
