Gatefold double LP
The Singles collection charts Genesis' Phil Collins' entire solo career from his smash 1981 debut "In The Air Tonight" to "(Love Is Like A) Heatwave" from his 2010 studio album, "Going Back." It encompasses seven U.S. No.1s ("Against All Odds (Take A Look At Me Now)," "Sussudio," "One More Night," "Separate Lives," "A Groovy Kind of Love," "Two Hearts" and "Another Day In Paradise" plus further Top 10 hits. Few artists have so dominated the charts as Collins, the English singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, music producer and actor, and the memorable music on The Singles shows why. The mastering process for the tracks was overseen by Nick Davis.
Phil Collins gained fame as both the drummer and lead singer for the rock band Genesis, and he also gained worldwide fame as a solo artist. Collins is one of the most successful songwriters and performers of all time, singing the lead vocals on dozens of hit albums and singles in the U.K. and the U.S. between 1976 and 2010, either as a solo artist or with Genesis. He has been described by AllMusic as "one of the most successful pop and adult contemporary singers of the '80s and beyond."
